Privacy Policy

NagSquad (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the NagSquad mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using NagSquad you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you create an account and use the App:

Account Data: Your email address, used to create and authenticate your account.
Profile Data: Your timezone, notification preferences, and nag interval settings.
Goal Data: Goals you create, including their name, type, scheduled days, and active window times.
Activity Logs: Your daily completions (Done / Snooze / Not Today) and the timestamps of those responses.
Streak Data: Current and longest streak counts per goal.
Check-in Data: Daily energy, mood, and sleep quality ratings (1–10 scale) you voluntarily enter.
Notification History: Records of when nag notifications were sent to your device and your responses.

We do not collect payment information directly — payments are processed by Google Play and we receive only confirmation of subscription status. We do not collect precise location data, contacts, photos, or biometric data.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and maintain your account.
To deliver scheduled goal reminders (“nags”) during your defined active hours.
To calculate and display your goal streaks and progress.
To generate your weekly recap summary.
To personalize nag timing and frequency based on your settings.
To improve the App’s reliability and features (using aggregated, non-identifiable analytics).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase, a managed database platform hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the US-West-2 (Oregon) region. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS and encrypted at rest.

We implement industry-standard security practices, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

4. Third-Party Services

NagSquad uses the following third-party services that may process your data as part of delivering the App:

Supabase (database and authentication) — Privacy Policy

Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications, future feature) — Privacy Policy

5. Your Rights and Choices

Access: You can view all your goals, logs, and check-in data within the App.
Correction: You can edit or update your goals and profile settings at any time.
Deletion: You may permanently delete your account and all associated data by navigating to Settings → Delete Account within the App. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. Your email address may remain in our authentication system for up to 30 days before permanent removal.
Notification Control: You can disable nag notifications at any time via Settings in the App or through your device’s notification settings.
Data Export: We plan to offer a data export feature in a future update. Until then, you may contact us to request a copy of your data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data (goals, logs, streaks, check-ins, and notification history) is permanently deleted immediately. Backups may retain data for up to 30 days before being purged.

7. Children’s Privacy

NagSquad is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via an in-app notice or by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
